Hello everyone. I received a "do-not-reply" email from IRCC today saying that my PR card application had been updated. I checked my MyCIC account after. My application is approved (5 January 2018).

PR Card approved: 01/03/2018

How do I know it was dispatched? Or do they do that on the same day?

Also, I'm currently in the US and I'm going to ask my friend to ship it to me after he receives it. What's the best way to do this? Fedex or DHL?

Approved today Jan 5.

It depends your location, but at most it takes one week.

I landed via Ambassador Bridge and the address was in Toronto.

Hi, sorry for the delay in answering your question, just lack of internet connection

Basically like many people in this forum I landed with my COPR documents and left Canada 3 weeks after landing. I left Canada before receiving my PR Card but my friend picked it up for me. I still don't have it in my hands!
