Medyo off topic po but I am a student who recently arrived in Alberta.

Meron dalawang sticker at the back of my passport. One is yung sa VFS yata pagsend nila ng passport. Hindi ako sure kung saan galing yung isa. Tinanggal ko yung from VFS but medyo natanggal din yung isa. Does anyone know if importante ba yung isang sticker? Hindi na kasi complete yung bar code. Baka anyone knows if para saan yung isang sticker.

Hi guys! long time!

May question lang ako regarding sa renewal / extension ng student permit...

I'm currently taking a 1-year postgraduate certificate sa Centennial and I started last Sept 2017 (Fall intake)... yung program ko kasi may optional co-op program which is an extra semester (4-5 months).. i'm planning to take the co-op which means I have to extend yung student permit ko...

the thing is, syempre it will not be enough if i'm aiming to get a PWGP na worth 3 years kasi diba kelangan at least 2 years worth of Canadian educational background ang kailangan? kasi if i choose to finish my 1-year cert + 4-5 months co-op program, then that would mean na parang 1.5 years of Canadian studies lang nagawa ko technically, right? so binabalak ko na magtake ng isa pang 1-year certificate para maging sure na 2+ years of Canadian education makuha ko para mas mataas chances na 3-year PGWP ma-grant sa akin.

That said, I just wanted to ask:
1. is there a limit to the number of times you get your student permit extended?
2. if i do extend my student permit twice, will it affect my chances regarding PGWP and in the long run, the PR/express entry?
3. would it be better if i just not pursue the 4-month co-op program after my 1-year cert is finished and that i just take another 1-year cert after i finish my initial 1-year certificate?
4. has anybody else had the same experience?

Kung magtatake ako ng isa pang 1-year cert, clarify ko lang kung kelangan literal na continuous dapat yung pagstudy mo or pwedeng kahit may short break lang ng onti kung magtatake ako ng second certificate? like kunwari April 2018 matatapos yung first program ko, kelangan ba sa May 2018, dapat magstart na yung second program na balak kong itatake?

Pwede namang may pwede ring September basta bago magexpire yung permit mo ay dapat naka apply ka na ng extension. Meaning rin nun may papasukan ka ng school
