I started my papers on June 2016 still no news, I keep getting in touch with my mp she says all the assessments have passed just your background check is in process, my husband had his permanent residence interview at new Delhi office April 4 2017 and his background check has started since that date. Anyone has any recommendations plz

This wait is becoming unbearable; it's going to be 3 months since our BGC went into process on January.10; April Applicants who had interviews already got DM and PPR; May Applicants have interview dates lined up in January.

What are they doing with our files? I ordered notes on Nov.8; Due date was Dec. 8; I still didn't get them. NDVO/CIC is really pissing me off.

My date of file submission is June 5 and since September 11, file is at New Delhi Visa Office. I have not heard any updates since then.

Nothing! NADA! Nope! I am beyond frustrated. Our anniversary is this month! I really thought I would spend with my spouse. I missed all occasions! Rejection or approval will do! This incessant blind wait is ruining and just unbearable!

In general due date for security/criminality will be 1 year.. mine was april 2018 when it was generated on nov 15.. even mine both security and criminality was not started at that time...
Your jan 10 due date is date the officer must look into file.. but not like will not touch before.. it is kind of reminder...
i guess you dont have any other security/criminality check needed apart from india.. as eligibility is passed you should almost at end....
anyways from now one they will be back with good pace of processing it will be matter of 1-2 weeks... i know its crazy but they need to finilize the application soon..

Yes, apply for visitor visa. If your background verification are done then you have some chance of egtting it.

Thanks... I guess I will do web form since the was only gives me option to change applicant address and not sponsor

i believe calling CIC would be the best way, as they will change it in real time, besides that you can ask for the agent ID for your reference who changes your address and since you directly interact with a human you can ask what ever changes you want (yours or only yours or only your sponsors) because web form doesn't give you the opportunity to explain much in detail and only god knows when will they process your webform.
