I am in the same boat as u my friend. I am waiting to see some movement on my file since June 1 when the application was sent to new Delhi Visa Office.

Yeah, when they send you the email regarding the interview they let you know the sponsor should be available during the time of interview in case they want to contact them.

Interesting, I wonder how often they do call the sponsor? Considering the time difference between Canada and India (I'm in Southern Ontario and they are currently 10.5 hours ahead) that could mean them calling the sponsor in the middle of the night. Not sure what kind of answers they would get after waking someone up <LOL>.

I am in the same boat as you, nothing the ECS has changed, just waiting forever..... Wonder if they will ever start with the BGC. I have not ordered the GCMS, is that going to help?

Sent a case specific enquiry to NDVO on visitor visa a month ago, no response. Ordered notes earlier in september, before BGC was in progress. There was no adverse information on that one. Ordered again last week, will see what it says once I get it.

That's Bad !! If they cant even act on due dates. I am April 6th Applicant and next due date is Jan 10th but now not sure if anything would happen or not !!

I started my papers on June 2016 still no news, I keep getting in touch with my mp she says all the assessments have passed just your background check is in process, my husband had his permanent residence interview at new Delhi office April 4 2017 and his background check has started since that date. Anyone has any recommendations plz
