No I did not receive any email other than a email from the system that my application was updated. When I looked at the application in the CIC system it just said final status as approved. With the PR Card #, Date of Approval. The card did say 19th Dec, while dispatch was probably 20/21st Dec since the system was updated on 20th Dec and email was received on 21st.
I'm in North York.

Hi everyone,

My spouse and I landed on November 5th at Pearson. This morning (December 28th) myCIC shows the status of my PR card as approved! However, despite many attempts, I have never been able to link my wife's PR card application on myCIC (she is the primary applicant). So, not sure if her application is approved as well.

My wife landed with me on October 17. On December 20 her status changed from no additional documents required to documents uploaded. Since then nothing changed Getting PR card takes more time than proceeding of the whole PR application - INSEANE!

Hopefully you should be approved this week. Also note that some people status do not change but they still receive their PR cards. Just keep and eye for it and if you don't get anything by the end of the week you can call IRCC to confirm your status.
