1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 19, 2017.

Have not yet received AOR or application #. Has anyone experienced it?

This is your AOR = acknowledgement of receipt. You do not receive anything else. No case number either. Just keep on checking Ecas for in process.

Congradulations on the entry in ECAS. I guess you will also receive an email (if provided one in the application) which goes something like this.. Other senior members can comment.

If email id was not provided in the application - you will receive a mail (snail mail)

This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
(IRCC) will review your application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required.
Whenyour application has been reviewed and has met basic eligibility, IRCC will invite you to a knowledge test, interview and/or..........

Same thing happened to me.. just call CIC and explain to them that you only received the first line.. and the issue will be resolved and ask for your case number too.

Tried calling CIC but they dropped my call due to high volume, will try again tomorrow. I am assuming you had provided your UCI number as reference to get the case number right?

Same for me. My application is shown received on Oct 16th, with no other information. Will try calling in, and see what the agent says.
