Have one query -->
As per Country Specific Requirements for INDIA,

India – Instruction(s) for documents

• Birth certificates issued in this country: If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as:
  • Old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate), and
  • Voter's ID card.

Query : My birth is registered late so If I provide "ORIGINAL" 5th, 8th, 10th, 12th mark-sheet along with Voters Id Card, Will CIC return these documents after PPR? If not then How to provide these docs with the package.

How have you guys dealt with this kinda situation ?

I was also in same situation. I did below things and my application was fine.

Provide 10th Class certificate and an affidavit from court saying that your birthday is on same date as mentioned in 10th class certificate.
Also provide aadhar card or pan card or voter ID card where it is mention about your birth date.

All originals will be returned to you after PPR..

I was also in same situation. I did below things and my application was fine.

Provide only requested dos - Voter ID, 5,8,10 school records.. Affidavit, aadhar, pan not asked..

I think they should have a maximum processing time for each process rather than a 12 month window. Something like your AOR1 should take no longer than 30 days, AOR2 no longer than 60 days, BCG check no longer than 120 days and roll them up to one year.
This would give better clarity as to how the application is progressing and make sure most of the applications are processed in a first come first serve basis rather than a random pick and choose. There should be fines or some sort of compensation if a file is unnecessarily delayed.

BGC check is not allways updated when they start.. they do just before DM mostly.. so you can expect next week DM.. as i seen in 2016 thread.. mostly mon/tue they release.. just next turn will be remaining march applicants..

yes .. you are required to take print-out of the request letter and take it to the designated doctor for medical exam.
