Finally march 20 applicant/may 8th aor2/nov 28 BGC in process/ DM on dec 19th....
Looks like march next 1-2 weeks can expect all getting DMs..
hopefully PPRs soon too...

haha the avid followers of this forum know this theory of mine lol- so what has been noticeable with NDVO applicants who have been interviewed is that their background status in GC key prior to the interview never changed to NA as it has changed with several people. It mostly remained as "we are processing your application...." That is what has been noticed in many cases- if you can validate/ refute the theory that would be great.

Woo, if this theory of yours is correct then I am saved! Has NA for BCG check since beginning.
Surely can have a watch over this! Consider me in with your research

haha have waited so much might as well form a theory and write a research paper on it now eh! Lol- great! the more important input would be from people who've had interviews this year who could enlighten us further as to if their bcg was "we are processing your application.." instead of NA prior to the interview!

Congratulations to all for Dm’s and PPR!!! But guys NDVO takes sooooooo long these days for stamping its sooo frustrating before that they dispatched passports in 2-3 business days..

No man, mine still says the same thing for as long as I can remember. I don't think I have any hope of getting DM this year. Once I do get it I will let everyone know. Thanks for asking.

My background check never changed to NA. It changed from your application in progress to we are processing your background. No interview required

great to know. however, those who have had interviews so far have not had NA.. unless someone can refute that.. then theory goes out the window lol

I haven't been scheduled for an interview and my background status never changed to NA either; before my BGC started, the status was:
Background Check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

When BGC started on October 10, 2017; it changed to:
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Just a small request: Please make sure you are using proper terminology; for instance, if your background check has not started yet; it means your status is either Not Applicable or Your application is in PROGRESS; We will send you a message when we start your background check.
When your background check starts; your status will change to: We are PROCESSING your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

This is just to avoid confusion! Thank you in advance!
