Yea I read that recently but I don’t like their crime rates and also with a toddler I’m a little nervous to take her in another’s third world country. I wish Pakistanis had an easy visa process to Europe etc (along with Canada heheh)

Toronto to Karachi seems cheaper than Toronto to Lahore (cheapest ~$1200). I've made three trips so far using PIA and there was a major delay (~3 hours) only once. Beats having to take connecting and waiting for hours.

Alhamdulillah On mycic account, it says our visa was approved:) BG check completed, Medical passed and counterfoil issued 11-Dec-2017. I didn't get anything so far and vfs tracking says it's in process. Everything changed in a day:D I wish and pray for all of you guys especially the ones stuck from 2015-2016. May Allah swt makes it easy for all of you, Ameen.

BTW Is this counterfoil msg normal?

I took one flight in August which was connecting in Karachi and let me tell you!! They cancelled my flight at 11 pm when my flight was departing at 8 am next day. So I had to drive 4 hours to Islamabad to catch a direct flight to Toronto departing at 8:15 am! What a night!! I oukdnt recommend connecting flights with pia

Congrats! Yes the counterfoil doc appears when ur pp is stamped at the embassy.

What date did u get dm/PPR.

They update the background check line on mycic today but actually background check started earlier as email reply from LVO revealed that my application is under background check.

Did u email to the LVO??? How u emailed them ? I also wanted to know that officer who deal with my case have recieved the additional docs or not?

The lvo asked me tha add docs and i sent all the add documnts month ago...but the status of my application is still the same that we required more add docs... how do i know that exact officer who deals my case recieved tge add docs or not??? Help plz
