Just keep calling. I know it's really frustrated but that is the only way to know your status quickly. I usually have to call them 5 to 7 times just to get in the line and wait for like 40 to 60 mins to talk to the agent. Don't give up! Just keep calling them and once you are in the line you can put your phone aside and do your own thing. Good luck!!

Calling them would not speed up ur process...
I had called them in june after my medical (in june) and git to know that my medical is received and is good to go. Also I came to know that my background is in process. They didn't update that the medical clear on my cic until november. Also my background check started ( on my cic) on nov 23, whereas I had got the verbal update on phone in june
I have never called them again as I knw they are doing what they need to do and and all of us are in the same boat.
It will take 18 months don't worry... you are almost there..

processing time is 18 months and u will get good news anytime now

Does adding spouse into the file after AOR effects the processing time? I submitted my application on june 13 and most of june 13 applicants already got DM, any help would be appreciated.

Yes, that's your passport request. At what time did you receive email for PPR? I am 24 th june applicant and waiting for PPR after DM.
