Yes I did upfront medical n e medical too got request on nov 8 n still not status show updated when I talk to cic respresentitives they say we had ur medical so don’t worry our officer will review it n update it .

did you submit via emedical? do you it would have been the case if you hadnt done upfront and submitted upon actual medical from cic?

Yes, the clinic submitted my dependents’ results via emedical, but surprisingly, an IRCC call agent informed me they hadn’t received the results when I followed up, after a long time with the status still on “..review..”. My dependents did their med exams outside Canada, hence the delay (according to the call agent). I had to call the clinic and subsequently submitted more info upon their advise (name of clinic, date of exam, and date results were sent to IRCC). This submission was done through case specific enquiry. It was after this that the status changed to “passed”. Overall, I think mine is kind of a “special” case mainly because my dependents’ meds were done: 1. upfront and 2. outside Canada. So, I think it would most likely not have been the same outcome if it hadn’t been upfront (since IRCC would afterall be expecting the results during that particular period—i.e. soon after the MR).

For those of us who are interested in a second BOWP below is a link for the best explanation I found on the web so far. I believe after your first BOWP, there's no such thing as a SECOND Bridge Open Work Permit, just a simple Open Work Permit since your AOR is considered a conditional approval...

There is no such thing as First BOWP either. It is also a just open Work permit. does your WP says bridging in it? My understanding is bridging is just implied

I had the same issue I did my upfront in October and got a medical request in November
So by talking to cic I was told to write an email explaining everything
And on checking, 2 days ago my medical got approved

i noticed that the very last weeks of june applicants are starting to get DM.

Are there any July applicants that has BGIP or DM?

I think in DEC ppl from this thread should start to see BGIP and DM's ( July - Aug applicants )

In Jan 2018 Aug applicants should start to see BGIP and DM's and so on. (Including the first 2 weeks of Sep applicants that did medicals in Nov 2017)

Can we update our list with when we start to receive BGIP?
