everyone saying background check in process, where do you see this?

I was never able to link my application to my online account but i do check on the simple online status checker thing, is that what you are using?

Buddy give them aa call and go to the option of application status. Computer automated voice will read what we see in mycic.

Medical Request was on Sept. 8, I did it on Sept. 25. Doctors may submit the medical file two days later.

So sad. MR on Sept 6, I did it on Spet 8, but still BG N/A. June 13 applicant

What are the recent trends. How long after BG chck in process are people seeing any other movement?
Knowing how long to wait helps sometimes!!

I call CIC and spoke to agent-he said everything is almost done and i will hear something by April 1...really??? If everything is almost done and i have already completed 18 months then why I have to wait for another 4-5 months??? He said this is a dead line on my application and hung up phone on me..This is so ridiculous and so unfortunate after spending 7 years in canada and paying taxes and supporting canadian economy..we have been treated like this. They have no feelings for our sufferings and emotions.
I have filed a complaint to IRCC for that agent.This is not acceptable.

Hey bud, order your gcms notes as you can really tell what's going on with your file.

May 16 ... still waiting for the final decision to be taken..bg In process since September 20..don’t know when final decision will be done....

Right thanks! I did that and it says basically the same as it does online. online I'm not actually logged in but i can enter my application # and it comes up with a little info.

Same here.. then i applied through EE on September 21, (i still have PNP, as I could not withdraw ... cic told me they need 16 weeks to withdraw ....) anyway, my EE just changed into BG in progress a few days ago..

June 13 2016 inland OINP applicant. Just received a msg from mycic requesting detailed CV during my master's study and a updated Schedule A form for background and declaration.
Do they usually ask for these two materials? I graduated from the program 2 years ago. Not sure why they asked for it.
