Hello all,

I applied for student visa under spp , submitted my file(paper based) to VFS ahmedabad on 4th July, 2016

I checked status online, it says:
Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, BANGALORE

What does this mean?

My profile:
10th,12th, BCA, MCAassed with distinction with no backlog
2.9 years of experience as software developer
IELTS : 6.5 with no less than 6
Course applied: web design and development
Paid 1year gic and college fees
Please help please

Is it a positive sign for getting visa?

How much days can I expect to get visa or any final result?

Moreover if the status changes to
"Your visa is being processed"

Does that meant that it is confirmed that I'll get VISA?

Hi,
No. Visa being processed at Bangalore/ Delhi etc is just to inform you that ur file is in respective office. If visa is granted then they will update. Being processed means you will get visa.

5 weeks. If you are lucky then before to that. Some have got in few days, 2 weeks and all.

When did you apply?

My application status was changed to
"Your Visa application is being processed in Canada Visa Office, Bangalore"
In morning

And

In my mail, i received a mail that
"Your Visa application has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office , New Delhi on 06/07/2016"

Even after reading mail, I tracked my application online, it shows the status:
"Your Visa application is being processed in Canada Visa Office, Bangalore"

I don't know when and what will be the final result

Yes I do get Sms and Email as well
Both stating different things
Email says my file is sent to Delhi
Where as
Sms says my file is sent to Bangalore

GOD only knows
What's happening
And
What will be the outcome

Was your file placed by an Agent at VFS global?

As there's a form which VFS global people give for tracking your application, in which you need to write your own number and email, if this is done, then you should get Sms and email
