I got DM yesterday as well... i am waiting for PPR to request u to update the sheet...
Congrats! Spreadshest updated with DM. Let us know when you get PPR.
Okay I am very happy for you all, but how is it that most of April is concluded and we have not even heard a damn peep out of LVO! We are now 7 months in our application process. Is it time to contact my MP?? Please advise.

This is the time to order notes to see where LVO stands with your application and also contact your MP by sending a breezy email so that they start to get to know you and your application.

Notes ordered, expected delivery date is Nov 24. Email MP's office or call? or show up in person? I know we still have 5 months left to start really panicking but I am losing hope by the day! Ours is a straight forward case (at least I think it is). I don't understand the hold up. Getting agitated.

You can contact your MP because a considerable time has elapsed. It's their job to serve you and make inquiries on your behalf, so don't accept the "under normal processing time" crap from them. Demand an inquiry be made and don't be meek or apologetic about it. It's all about how you ask.
If your GCMS notes look fine, however, then I would just wait it out. I got DM yesterday but some other Jan applicants got DM months before me. Maybe try putting in an inquiry to LVO. I personally wouldn't worry until you start hitting the 9 month mark.

Emailing is the best way to be pushy, without letting them know that you're being pushy. Notes will help you understand whether you need to panic (interview queue) or if they are just being slow.
For now, just email a professional and respectful email to the MP's office. Their staff will contact you and let you know on the latest. You will also have to sign a consent form for them to request information on your behalf. So, if you have access to a printer and scanner, you can do all of that electronically and send it off the same day.

Don't worry too much. It's really just a waiting game. If your case is straight forward, all you have to do is put up with being patient. I thought I'd be relieved after DM but I'm still in the waiting game for PPR. Until I get that, a degree of uncertainty will keep gnawing away at me. It's just the nature of this whole process.

Thanks for the help. Will do that just now. Don't want to wait for the notes, because then it will be pushing it to the 8 month mark. Thanks once again.
Hey guys just received PPR

Btw if there an option to personally pick up passport from vusa office or is mail the only way? Im worried they might not find our address in pakistan.

Exactly! No need to panic just yet but definitely getting in touch with the MP to get a feeler is a good idea at this point.

Congratulations!
You will have to personally submit the passport to the nearest VFS office. After you get an update that your passport has been dispatched from the canadian high commission, you will have to personally collect your passport from the same VFS.
