From 23oct the status saying (is being processed)
Just waiting for the dispatch message .

U will get your Passport back in 8-10 days max

Seeing below processing time note from CIC website - I think now their primary focus is to clear all backlogs from 2016.

When did u apply?? .. file are processed in NDVO according to the date when the ur was received.. my file is in process since 30 June and still waiting for background check start

Ndvo got file on oct 12 and they started processing on oct 18

I am a June applicant and I have not been able to link my account to GcKey from the beginning. Our file was transferred in September. Yesterday, we called up at the CIC toll free number and they are saying 2 things. 1. You do not need an interview and, 2. We will ask for your fingerprints if needed. It says nothing about the background check.

Can someone shine some light on whether or not our background check has started? Any information in this regard will be highly appreciated.

It means ur Background check is not started yet.. u have to wait at least 1-2 months..now days Background of April applicant is being processed
