Hello hopefully someone knowledgeable can answer a question i have.

I received my PR in October 2016. I understand there is a requirement to wait a minimum of 3 years from landing before being eligible to sponsor their parents and grandparents.

My question is if my Husband has been in Canada for 10 years and is a co-sponsor can i enter the draw for 2018 or do i have to wait for the three years?

If your husband co-signs and meets LICO for the last 3 years, you're eligible to apply.

Hello there, My application was received in Mississauga on 26th June 2017, got AOR from them on Aug 10, since then i have not heard from them and no status update in ecas. Is anybody out there in the same position as me? Seniors, would you happen to know whats causing the delay. i have noticed that some of them submitted late June and early July have their files transferred to their home country. Could anyone provide an insight.

Thanks a ton. It doesn't show anything so I suppose that they haven't started working on my application yet.

I'm in the exact same boat. Its stressing me out. I have the tracking from Canada post but nothing on their website says that they have even received my application. I'm a little worried and reading about so many others that have has updates

And the reply from IRCC call center...."We do not have any information. Please hold on to the Canada Post Tracking number, that is the proof that you sent the application and it was received before the due date."

I'm not on that database.... is that a problem?

Yes. AOR received 10/24. App received 7/21.
Expect it in a few days.

Received AOR and was able to see ECAS status as well.

Recieved AOR on October 30th. The documents were delivered on July 24th, 2017. I have a question, in the letter there’s info regarding the use of representative. Did everyone gets it or it’s just general information?

preparing the application for sponsoring parents...in 2014/2015 i was on maternity leave. on the financial evaluation form (IMM5768), do i mention the duration as mat leave (EI) or do i just include that period as part of my employment term?

Hi.i have a question,if someone can help please.i am sponsoring my both parents.from guide,I understand that Each of them will fill their own schedule A_Background (IMM5669) and Additional family information (IMM5406) forms.
But the main Application form (IMM008) will by filled only by principal applicant(my father) OR one form each by father and mother?
