Medical Exam passed!
My Background check status also updated to IP1

Current BGC: IP1 (We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.)
Have a query regarding relatives?
Which relatives do we have to mention about when CIC asks the question " do you have any relatives staying in Canada who is a citizen or a PR holder"
Also who are acceptable relatives as per CIC?
Does the daughter of (own maternal) grandmother's sister count?
As far as I know it is either of the following:
-Sibling-Own brother/sister
-Parents or grand parents
-Uncle/aunt: Own siblings of parents
-Nephew/Neice: Children of siblings
Hey all, I will be submitting my online application soon. On CIC website, it says that the AOR is issued within a few hours of online application submission. How was the experience for you guys?
.
guys,
being the primary applicant, I have submitted all my documents including PCC for all required countries but for my wife, her FBI PCC is still pending but I submitted the application mentioning this in the LOE. Does this impact the processing timelines?
AOR-6th Oct... no movement yet, not even on medicals...
I saw that you got it too, Congrats!
For the others, I did not received a notification, I just logged in in mycic and saw that the details of my application were set to "Updated" (instead of "Submitted"). Then clicking further I saw that the medical and the background check were changed

After AOR, I was waiting for "medical passed" status update with IP1. But my status has been updated straight to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information", which is IP2 as far I understand. Also got an additional document request for "RCMP Criminal Record Check". Therefore, today gave my fingerprints to the local police station for this record check. They said, it will take 10 business days to process. Now expecting a bit delay in between to get PPR for this additional verification.
