Already got an email saying they already received my application for permanent residency
Is this the AOR? And what is 2nd AOR ?

Aor1=You application has been received and checked(for completion) by CIC.
Aor2=Your file is transferred to your Local Visa office for further processing.

Any idea how long do CIC takes to acknowledge the recipe of pape base documents and what is the next steps.

Our documents were delivered on 5 days back.

i applied on paper base with alberta nominee programme on September 28 they have received . I donot know when i will receive file number.

Same here mate, our documents reached and received on 25th and now waiting for file number, usually takes 2 months.

Hello Everyone,

I submitted PR application based on paper with SINP in July 2016 and I am still waiting for the medical exam request.
My application is showing in process and "Your Action Is Required" is still on the status.
Has anyone who applied at the same period of time like me received anything?

If my application (PNP Paper based) is return due to missing signature on one of the forms (they mentioned in their accompanying letter to sign and resend), should I sign the missing form or shall I start a new application together with a new package? Thanks

I would just sign and resend that one form. In the meantime, I would be calling them to ask them about this. It is near impossible to get to them by phone, but if you call first thing in the morning, you may be in luck!

It will take almost 7weeks. I submitted mine last August 9 and got my AOR last Sept 25

i have been waiting for the medical request for almost 9 months after AOR. 11 months gone since Application sent. Dont know what the Abu Dhabi Visa Office is upto. Although i have seen some cases being processed within 5-6 months of submission(same Visa Office).
Let's see how much more wait is still there for my application.
