which VFS is that? I thought they send and receive docs everyday.

Abu Dhabi VFS, when I called them they informed me that only on the 10th did the embassy receive it.

What does it mean my application approved. If it is approved why does it take so much time to release the passport

yeah it means they have stamped your passport, issued your COPR and closed the case as far as ADVO is concerned. Time after stamping is just the transit time courier companies take to pick up and drop your passport to you. (2-3 days)

I have submitted our passports through VFS and as per their system and call centre agent it is still being processed. Does that mean VFS has one particular date in a week to pick the passports from ADVO anf then deliver it.

i don't think so, they send and pick up passports every other day of the week if not everyday, its one of their key jobs and why we are paying them.

VFS agent said the typical timeline is 15-30 days but can go over 30 days as well! Reached embassy on 10th.

I got the approved status today

Passport submitted (VFS Kuwait) on 11th Sept and reached ADVO same day,
Application status changed to approved on 3rd Oct

Received Passport?
