Hi members,

Did we (me and my wife) need to attach our national ID and the official translation in addition to our passports when uploading the documents for PR?

Thx for your advice!

Hi all,
I received my ITA and am filling up my application now. One question: In the EE profile, I mentioned Spouse work experience. However, as it is not Canadian experience, I would like to change it in the application and say 'No' for spouse work experience. How do I make that change? What button do I press to go back? I am lost. Please help

About to apply.
Hello friends,

I missed the bus the Canada in 2012 after the rules changed, however now thought of applying through Express Entry. Done with my IELTS and ECA under process. I need your views on my following queries:

1. Once i submit my Express Entry and enter the pool, can I at a later stage add IELTS/ECA of my wife to increase the points.

2. Does work exp. of wife gets any points, in the CRS (out of 1200) and other points (out of 100).

3. Does my wife gets point if she has relatives in Canada (not brother or sister).

4. Will my relative ie. uncle/aunty/nephew/neice will also qualify as my wife's relative?? or the relative should be strictly from my wife's side of family.

5. If i submit the Express Entry point today, will i be in the pool immediately or after some lead time.

6. While calculating CRS points, highest experience they ask is for '3 years or more'. so does it mean it makes absolutely no difference if my experience is 4 years or 10 year?. and in that case am i require to give experience certificates for the entire 10 years or only 3 years is fine?

Thank your friends in advance for helping me out. Awaiting your response.

Regards,
Nish

Hi, bio page of passport is that page where all your biographic details are given including your photograph. So, it must be referring to the first or second page of your passport. I don't know the reason.
rgds, best wishes.

Hi,
When submitting your documents for PR the copy of your passport wasn't clear so sometimes they're asking for another copy.
Be sure to upload a clear scan and you'll be fine!
Good luck!

[Yes you can update your profile and then you got updated CRS]

2. Does work exp. of wife gets any points, in the CRS (out of 1200) and other points (out of 100).[I guess yes (I'm not 100% sure), you can try a simulation using the score calculator tool]

3. Does my wife gets point if she has relatives in Canada (not brother or sister).[You get extra 15 points if your wife's brother, sister, parents or kids are PR or Canadian citizens]

4. Will my relative ie. uncle/aunty/nephew/neice will also qualify as my wife's relative?? or the relative should be strictly from my wife's side of family.[Only from your wife side or your said as I explained earlier]

5. If i submit the Express Entry point today, will i be in the pool immediately or after some lead time.[If you're qualified you'll be in the pool immediately and sometimes you can't see your CRS score immediately (sometimes updated after 24h)]

6. While calculating CRS points, highest experience they ask is for '3 years or more'. so does it mean it makes absolutely no difference if my experience is 4 years or 10 year?. and in that case am i require to give experience certificates for the entire 10 years or only 3 years is fine? [It's up to you if you're fine with your CRS having 4 years exp. and it's really difficult for you to get the ref. letters then you're fine]

Thank your friends in advance for helping me out. Awaiting your response.

Regards,
Nish

Hi everyone,

Please I need urgent assistance through your responses.

We have just received ITA.
Now the issue is that my wife has been to different countries in the past, of which one of them is Argentina.
Argentina will not give one police clearance certificate (PCC) in their absence or through online medium, they require one to come to the country to obtain this. Now my wife was able to get one in May this year two days before her departure from the country.

From our research, applications can get turned down because of PCC been obtained before one leaves the country or it been later than six months before submission.

My questions hence are these;
Is it possible for my wife to not mention Argentina as a country she has been to, and also avoid scanning that potion of her passport that bears the Argentine visa stamp.
Also her passport will expire in the next 8 months so we plan to wait till it's 6months to expiration to cancel that old passport and obtain a new one before submission of our ITA documents. It is because of this passport expiration that I was thinking of not mentioning Argentina at all to avoid issues arising since the Argentine visa will be in the old cancelled passport.
Please note that we still plan to scan other pages of the old passport that contains visa stamps of other countries she has been too such as UK which is where she did her masters (we got the UK PCC online, hassle free).

A candid n urgent response will be very very very appreciated. Thank you.
Just be honest guy and you'll be just fine!

When we do a LOE, should that be separate word documents for different sections or just one word document covering all our explanations??
Coz I might need to do a LOE for UCI number and possibly my car loan which will be paid off when I sell the car once PPR received and start winding up things from here.
