Medicals passed: June 29th
Aditional documents requested: June 29th (clarification about my last 10 years activities)
BGC: NA on August 3
Changed status from We are reviewing the aditional documents provided to We dont need aditional documents on August 29th.
Since then... silence. Still on NA.
Visa is being processed at CPC-Ottawa.
My wife has a full scholarship for a 4 year phd starting january... would you guys go for the study permit or keep faith??

Thanks for your reply. My application is with Spouse so I guess because of that it will take time. I will wait for one more week and then if there is not any update then I will email to get the status update.

Just want to confirm, below is the format of email you sent to CPC ottawa ?

You get an email only twice during the entire process - first when you clear your medicals and later when you get PPR.

No, you don't get emails for every status updates.
Then again, some people get emails but their application does not show any updates!

Well, the update or email means someone is working on your application and that is definitely a great sign.

Sitting on a 5-month-old application with no updates./emails what so ever!

okkkayy thank you for replying and also dw one of my friends has no update at all even after getting ppr email .... so things happen keep your hopes high .... btw have u ordered gcms notes???

Morning people, so I got the golden email yesterday at about 5pm mountain time.

Medical passed in August
RPRF requested on August 28
RPRF paid on August 29
PPR Sept 25

Finally someone from May 6 with PPR. Hope mine is on its way. Remember yesterday @Slimmy1 you said that this day was not the best to apply?

Yes. I initiated that on 9/6. Do you think this update could be related to that somehow?

It could be. i can't tell that 100%. Most of the people who got that message ,they order GCMS notes. Including me.
