I will do my landing on Tuesday at the SK-Montana border. How does it work? Do they automatically send the pr card after landing or i will have to apply for it?

Once you do your landing they will stamp and sign your COPR with the date. Then they will send in for the processing of your PR card. At this time the estimate time to wait is 61 days.

They will mail your permanent resident (PR) card .you dont have to apply anything.
Additional to it keep your landing documents safely you will be needed down the road.

Hey- saw your reply about CIC mailing PR cards..I am in US and got PPR today..I was wondering will CIC courier the PR card to a US address or does it have to be collected in person?

Got my PR card yesterday!!

Landed on 21st July
PR Card approved on 19th,

So I received the card in 2-3 days after approval. I live in Ottawa.

PR card application approved in my CIC on Sept 22, 2017. Landed on July 29th in Kingston. How long does it take to get the PR Card in your mailbox after its approved?
