I can't remember who posted a feedback form on this forum. I filled the form sometimes last week and I got a generic response. I am not sure if they actually looked up my file but below is the response.

i will even suggest people from this forum should send emails to his MP office,,,that way he will know that it's a serious issue.
and at some point it will get his attention. his MP office is a much smaller office.

She was told that "everything on our file looks good. " " avo is experiencing a backlog at the moment and you should hear from them soon" she sent me some form to sign, include a copy of my passport so they can verify my identity and have permission to probe into our application some more. She said she would update me on any additional info she gets.... All I can do now is pray. I am a Sept 16th applicant

Same thing my husband did and was told then they also said they can't influence the application because it is still within the processing time.

My PCC was given to me last month and it states valid for only 3 months. Will this have an effect on my application (either to speed up things or i will be asked to submit another one after expiration)?

Hello people I am new here, I want to know based on previous experiences, how long after I have been asked to submit my police certificate will it take to get a request for medical clearance, and how long after medical clearance to get request for passport. I just sent my police clearance 18th Sept. Thanks

Pls I ment estimate I know it's not possible to know a set time. My husband submitted an application 18th June 2, after one month they told my husband that it's processing the next month after they requested for police certificate. What next pls ? Am curious

I think the point that @Ugoswife was making, albeit sarcastically is that it’s pretty hard to estimate. Unfortunately when the prime minister made changes to the application process, he created two queues. Those that applied before Dec 2016 and those that applied after. It’s pretty hard if not close to impossible to provide a valid answer. I’ll suggest check each person account here and if you “click to expand” for users who applied after Dec 2016 you maybe able to estimate when others got theirs. But I guarantee you that every case is different. Even those who applied in the same month as you are getting different experiences with AVO. patience is the game here. Good luck

Forgive my sarcasm. @ClassicD gave a great reply. They new process seems to be better than ours because you get to hear from them from time to time as opposed to deafening silence for more than a year so be patient and see how it goes.
