hi all..quick question..i put in an application for parent sponsorship and was recieved july 19...the AOR will be emailed to me(sponsor) or my parents ...

also will this be via email ?

Long before the email arrives, you should be able to check status online:

One can call their helpdesk and quote sponsors UCI to verify that the application packet has been received by CIC,

Already tried a couple times. I was told there was no status available in the system since the Mississauga office most probably didn't upload the application yet.

To sponsor email. Also keep checking ecas everyday. Ecas will happen before AOR

Strange because me and some others were confirmed that they received the package from UCI search and also confirmed the date that matched with CanadaPost delivery

Will be to the sponsor and yes through email.

thanks ... so i logged in and checked and seems like application was received july 31...

but under the sponsored person it says my name not my parents name ...is this a error on my part or CIC's ?

That's what I heard. For some reason, now they're claiming to not have any update available. Not sure what's the reason behind the delay.

My mother has been selected in the recent lottery. She is the only applicant. My sister is sponsoring her along with her husband as co-signor. My sister has one boy of 15 yrs and one daughter of 21 years. I want to make sure that we missed any forms for submitting. The following forms will be submitted:
1. Application to sponsor, sponsorship agreement, and undertaking -IMM1334
2. Financial evaluation for parent and grandparents sponsorship -IMM5768
3. Generic Application -IMM008 (Filled up only by mother)
4. Schedule A background declaration - IMM5669 (Filled up only by mother)
5. Additional Family information- IMM 5406 (Filled up only by mother as she does not have any dependent children)
6. Process Fee

Please let me know whether I am missing anything.

- Your sister's marriage certificate
- Sponsorship invitation/confirmation email
- Your sisters birth certificate which shows your moms name on it

I recently received mail stating that I missed to attached payment fees receipt stating that the amount is not correct. I paid for 2 applicants processing fees $1100 and decided to pay RPRF fees later.
- Is the amount right?
- What can be done in if they reply that the amount is not correct again?
- Did anyone received such kind of mail? What are the steps you took when you received it?

I remember attaching it while sending the application. I did send it again last week.

Good for you. Many who sent in applications before 7/31 are still awaiting AOR.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. ECAS status and entries do change quite often. I'm sure it'll be fixed in coming days.

Can I make my wife co signer and use her income (before marriage income)and use towards sponsorship.

Hi There,

Need one help, as I have received email from CIC this month that I have been selected to sponsor my Parent. This happened when I lost all the hope and now that I have left my mom back Home. I'm wondering if some one can help me with my below questions :-

1. application require applicants signature how can I get this done as she is not staying with me any more.
2. Do I need to get all the photo copies / supporting documents certified..
3. My BC does not include my mothers name , however I have my graduation marksheet as well as other ID documents- Passports etc which states mother's name . Will that work.. as a proof of relationship.
4. Can we get NOA from CRA site , or can we submit T4 for all the years.

Really confused what to do as I'm not prepared .
