lol PUM means pickup mail for their visa after their application has being approved. Saw the thread sometimes ago and it seems they hear from accra more tho most of them are 2016 applicant but you often see goodnews there

Yes oo it's FSW and thier processing time is 6 months (Most apps process in 2/3months). Family sponsorship group pls let's not give ourselves HBP oo cos we are clearly in different categories.

Only if Cic could explain why they claim to "prioritize" family reunification yet there's a glaring difference in these two categories. 16/17 months and 6 months timeline, same VO. They should stop deceiving themselves thinking they are fooling us.

Anyway na we find them come so we get no choice. The only option they give is what we are doing right now "waiting"

Here is a link to a report outlining proposed changes to the immigration processes. In it, it suggests that the process for family sponsorship takes longer as the application can't be submitted online, something they hope to rectify in the near future:

I really need answer to this question too. Our passport was signed for on the 31st of August. And no word on PUM till date, no update on ecas or myCIC.

As long as they wish...lol. Don't mind me but honestly speaking no one can ans that categorically. AVO has thier own very unique way of doing things. Mine is 8 days today and am still waiting.

Are you sure AVO processes the entire application for express entry? I thought they just did the visa stamping. Also sadly, I doubt any country would truly prioritize family immigration over economic immigration.

Na wa oo, ur medical expires 25th Oct, a day b4 mine. They also expect u to land before then. AVO got no mercy at all, stamping a visa shouldn't take more than 5 working days but what do I know.

Me and hubby already conditioned our minds flight ticket will be cut throat price. Just try and relax ur mind, I believe u ll get that mail latest by Friday.

My hubby went through FSW and that's where his file was sent and processed. His visa was stamped in UK cos he was living there on student visa then.

Hopefully, things will start getting better with the new system they implemented this year. My own main issue is why is NDVO so damn fast. It's just not fair. But as you said, what can we do?
