VFS is better. There has been issues and delays from AD embassy when dealing with couriers compared to vfs, plus its a safer way and easier to track. You can submit and collect anytime you like. Ignore that 4-5 pm collection time, me and many others just went much earlier to collect our passports no issues.

My approval showed up just now! Woohoo!!!
I submitted to the ADVO via Aramex on 27th August 2017.
I am so happy and relieved!!

I also submitted our passports via aramex on 27th. Can you pls confirm if the passports have been dispatched to you (i.e., are you able to track the return delivery through aramex?)

I got an email from VFS today evening that the passport has reached them and they have now despatched it to me via courier. So that was super fast. I know I will get it by tomorrow. What a relief!

Is submitting passport to VFS Dubai recommended or should I use Aramex?
My working hours are 9-7, and taking leave from office is not easy.

VFS. Its safer and no worries about getting lost in courier etc.

I got an update on my CIC profile.
Everything approved.
It mentions counterfoil # and expiry date.
It also says "refer to message below.." ,but there are not msgs. Anybody have any clue whats up ??

Im planning to do my landing in February2018 and need to leave Canada after a few weeks for a marriage.
I know the PR card take 8 - 12 weeks to arrive. Any Idea on how to obtain a PR travel document?
Do I apply after landing or from Dubai before landing in Canada?
How many times can I use it to go in And out of Canada?

Any information would be great !

PRTD is valid for only 1 entry and is at complete discretion of the visa officer. You will leave Canada after landing and then apply at Abu Dhabi embassy when you are planning to travel again (you have to give them a reason why you had to leave without your PR card, I personally thing marriage is good enough reason).

Or you can ask someone to courier you your PR card and go back to Canada using that if you have time to wait.

It takes 8-9 weeks to get PR card after landning.

so, When I get my Passport back with a stamp and two copies of COPR along with it, Do I need anything else to do my landing. or these should be just fine..
will I need a PRTD when I first land...
