By visit they mean brief visit after marriage to visit ur spouse but u can attach passport showing exit -entry stamp , this way Lvo will be sure of the fact that u r in canada now, as required for pr holders to stay in canada during the processing if case

Was waiting for a status update from LVO. Had medical passed inApril 17- But after that there has been silence. Absolute silence until i ordered my GCMS notes. The notes said that file was at LVO pending an initial review of eligibility. However, yesterday i checked mycic and there was one tiny change.

Instead of " THE ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS YOU PROVIDED HAVE BEEN UPLOADED" it said " We do not require any additional document".

The rest is all the same. Is it a significant change.?

I mean I applied in Feb 2017. Its about to be 7 months. and I have seen people getting ppr requests in 8 months.

Not at all. Where else will your wife live? Immigration understands this. One of the members from this forum got a PFL like this and he explained that walima in our culture is usually done when the bride moves out of her parents house and into the husbands house. Since all of husband's family is in Canada and the wife is still residing at her parents house awaiting visa, that is why Walima has been postponed till when the wife will move to Canada. And they have planned to hold Walima in Canada. LVO understood this logic and his wife was granted pr visa.

It means they have received your documents which you uploaded. Wait for couple of days to see if there are any changes to your MyCIC.

I just want to throw out something since I also learnt this thing . Yesterday I submitted my file , my wife sent me things from Pakistan which was her part. I used to think from start that marriage certificate / registration they all mean NIKAH NAMA of URDU/ENGLISH, but in reality their is a thing like this. My wife sent me a greenish/yellowish paper both were almost identical and were called Marriage Registration and Marriage Registration Certification and had info exact as Eng Nikah Nama.

Just throwing out if this can help someone. Also, you can only get this once only when Prin App changes her status in Pakistan , so start with smart copy then passport so you have everything updated in NADRA.

She did live in different cities. But before she was 18 year of age so I think that wont matter.

It took 20 days just to make this one PCC. I wonder how much time it will take from ISB to get it fixed. What you think CIC wont accept this kind of PCC.?

You must ensure that whatever documents you provide are true. Don't give CIC any chance to send you additional document requests in the future.

So I visited Pak when I got married in July. That counts as a visit right?

Offcourse I cant go to pak again after a month. Again.

Never heard of it before to be honest and definitely didn't submit it. Wasn't part of the required documents I believe.

I think it could mean eligibility is concluded. Maybe DM soon? Did you recently order GCMS notes?

Im Jan 2017 applicant, absolute silence since Feb ( when medical was received). I ordered gcms notes in Aug & file was still awaiting initial review. I did notice when I ordered the notes my status on gc key also changed from "we will email if additional docs are required" to "no documents needed"

Yes , so i got my GCMS notes on September 07. And i see this change now, on September 16 !
