Guys is polio certificate mandatory for remedical? I sent mine in with original paperwork :/

When i went for original medical in Aug-2016, the email said to bring polio certificate at the time of med exam, but they never asked for it.

How was your interview. Could you please share your details?

The reason I am asking because I sponsor to my wife and had applied on Jan 23rd, 2017 and file transferred to London Visa Office by the end of Feb 2017 since I did not receive any request from LVO. Few weeks ago I asked about my application status/progress through IRCC Form.

I got the response today that is below.

Please be advised that this application awaits the organisation of an interview in Pakistan. This interview will take place during an area trip by an Immigration Officer based in London.

These area trips have not yet been scheduled, however we expect to conduct one area trip in each quarter of the year. We will be in contact with the applicant approximately one month prior to the interview.

They will schedule interview, is any one face the same situation? My application was looking very straight forward. Any idea was the reason?

Check the following spreadsheet. As of 2017, no applicant has informed us of interview. These days interviews are being conducted in Islamabad for those who applied between March to May 2016. So your interview is likely to be scheduled after 6 or more months.

Yes, I submitted my response in Sept 2016. We were called in for an interview in May 2017.

1. Is applicant receives interview without received any additional documents request before interview from LVO? I did not receive any additional document request from LVO since I applied.
2. I went to dubai on honeymoon on may 2017 with my wife, I directly went to dubai and my wife joined me there, she came from pakistan to dubai. We were stayed in Sheraton hotel for 7 days. I did not inform them that I did honeymoon because I was waiting to receive proof of relationship request. My question, can I inform about my honeymoon now? I have pictures, hotel letter, tickets etc

1) Yes that happens, sometimes people get in interview queue without additional document request. you can see a similar case from Dec 2016 on the spreadsheet.
2) Yes you can do that now.

Being in school has helped me a lot. not just with this process but in general being away from the the love of my life for so long. I am doing my undergrad in physics and am very passionate about my studies. Maybe take up a course, or do something to keep you busy, something fulfilling. I still have my moments but I find I am compelled to keep my shit together because I have school I want to focus on. All the best you guys. Hope you find the strength to cope with all this. breaks my heart reading your posts really does. Wish there was something I could do.

Hi everyone. I need some advise .I applied for my wife's visa in November 2016. Yesterday I got a reply from LVO asking for some more documents and some explanation. Documents they have requested are :

1)Updated PCC
2) Communication proof since November 2016 , post wedding pictures
3) Due to some issues my parent were not able to attend the wedding so they need explanation.
4) Proof of Sponsor visit ( I did not visit her since I came back to Canada after my wedding ).They have asked if Sponsor did not visit than provide an explanation.
5) My and my wife lived together after wedding but I only stayed there 8 days after my wedding . Now my whole family is in Canada so that's why she is currently living with her parents. They have asked our plans about Walima . We did small reception of about 40 people in Pakistan and told them that we will do bigger reception in Canada because my( sponsor) family is settled in Canada.

I need some advise what will be the best way to positively answer these questions. They have not asked anything about the marriage because our marriage was attended by almost 350 people ( we also send mehndi photographs. but it seems they are concerned about few things after the wedding. . Also, is this PFL or additional documents request only?? The letter contains 2 pages and they have asked us to reply within 40 days . Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
