I got AOR on May 18, till 3rd of August Application Status was showing as "We received your application..." and Backgroud Check was showing "Not Applicable".
On August 04, status got changed for Medical "You passed the medical exam" and Application status got changed to " We are processing your application...." and Also Background check status changed to "Your Application is in progress.." since then there is not status change and its almost 4 weeks from last status update.
Could anyone please tell me what it means from changing application status from "We received your application.." To "We are processing your application...." and Background check to "Your application is in progress...".
I don't think, its necessary to be delayed. I have seen people who are asked additional docs like schedule a form being delayed, then myself was asked for schedule a & uploaded same day. Next day, they ask3d for rcmp which means they did processed my schedule a additional doc very next day.
To be honest, files are being processed randomly. There is no pattern of first come, serve first. As some end of may aors got pr, before start of may aors & middle of may aors are still waiting.

I saw that some people think that rcmp and additional docs slow down the process. However, I am not sure how true it is since we were not asked for rcmp or any other additional docs. We have only one PC from our native countries (which we left when we were less than 18.. - we didn't HAVE TO submit our PCC according to cic rules, but we did anyways to provide all the sufficient documents at once).

Thank God I am not the only one with no updates.. Aor May 23 and Medical Passed and Background processing since August 1 with no updates at all since then.... I was getting really worried because I didnt pay the RPRF upfront and seeing people getting requests for Travel History or RCMP, made me think that sth is wrong with my application

Hi everyone, i need someone suggestion please here:
Applied for Express entry- 18 May 2017 ( INLAND)
28 May- ask for repeat medical ( Because of previous history of Tuberculosis)
July-15 Medical passed ( shows on ECAS)
July 15- Background starts in progress.
August- 12 recieve a letter in mailbox to go for Medical surveillence in local clinic
Now, my concern is i got the doctor appointment too late. It is on 27september and my work permit is expiring on 6th october 2017. Do you guys think my PPR will be late because of medical surveillance? Or they already pass my medical its not gonna effect on PPR ?
I dont know if i have to apply for work permit extension now or wait for PPR first ?
