I would like to kindly seek your advise with my application for permanent residence where my federal application file was lodged CIC on July 2015 post the acceptance by Quebec province. We have completed all paper work and the last report received on my file that background checking on prime applicant. It is taking more thank expected. Two years by now? I am not sure what to do next?

Bonjour les amis, new person here (edit. new on the forum, old in Quebec - since 4 years!). I've shared my timeline to the spreadsheet but in brief: PR application sent 29-10-2016, AOR 16-02-2017. MedReq 29-03-2017 which was approved early April. Since then nothing, no requests to pay fees, no updates in my CIC or ECAS.
Slight frustration and desperation are starting to creep on me because I'm also falling on implied status while waiting for a work permit extension, and I should submit another WP application for January because I will be taking another position at my workplace (if it all goes well)... Seriously, seems a little bloated to have three permits pending soon just because somebody wants to keep employing me

We do have the same timeline. Its just that they requested updated PCC and RPRF instead of ME. Hope to receive that one this September. Let's pray that we all get and receive PPR soon. God bless.

**DIFFICULT SITUATION!**
after a long wait of 16 months, I received CSQ today while I am on implied status.

I have applied for study permit again after My PGWP expired on 15 aug/2017. In this situation can I apply for PR?

I have a job offer of 14$/hr. Can I apply for WP while my Study permit application is currently under processing?

any help will be much appreciated!

No update after 7th September, it's going to complete 14 months of the processing time , and background check not at started, filled Web form on 8th August, no reply since then. No update both on ecas, Gckey and through email.

Tired of waiting for DM and PPR.

1)We received your application for permanent residence on July 7, 2016.
2)We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 14, 2016.
3)We started processing your application on December 7, 2016.
4)Medical results have been received.

RPRF fees & PCC request : 12th December 2016
RPRF fees paid: 12th December 2016
PCC : Submitted upfront with federal application, intimation sent both through courier and email. Along with PCC copies.

Medical request : 22nd December 2016
Emedical Done : 11th January 2017

Medical results received Updated on 17th January 2017
Gckey logged in first time on May 2017

Notes shows Medical passed.

Since then no update. Except the wrong update on June 6th additional documents required, which is back to normal after 3 weeks, after contacting cic over twitter.

Waiting for PPR.
