As per the current trend any idea how long new Delhi visa office takes to return the passport after stamping? I submitted mine exactly 2 weeks back.

I believe it takes around 3 weeks...Even I have submitted on August 16th....All the best...

Hi Friends,

I have been tracking these threads for a while now. I would like to know how do you get to know IP1 / IP2 / other status? Where do you think I stand as of now, my progress has been like this:

ITA on 24th April 2017
Application filed: 4th May 2017
AOR: 1st June
Schedule A request twice: 5th July 2017 and 18th July 2017
Medical Pass: 27th July 2017
Background Check in progress: 28th July 2017
Background Check Not Applicable: 30th July 2017
Background Check in progress: 5th August 2017
File Shipped to New Delhi Visa Office: 11th August 2017
However, status on application still says same - BG in progress.

What is to be expected now?

Congrats.The Final Decision will be changed to 'Approved' shortly in CIC Account.
I received passport request on Aug 11th and status was changed to Approved on Aug 26th.

For those who landed in Toronto, kindly advise if the free health care policy in Ontario, in particular Ottawa, is activated for us once we enter Canada or do we need to buy medical insurance for first few months...? TIA

You need to buy for first 3 months.

I got ppr on 4th august, submitted pp on 6th, cic account status still unchanged, no sign of my passport yet, i am from bangldesh,

According to my friend it took 3 days to get the passport after Cic status changed to approved

Congrats to you, for me I just got to know that the file is in India. No communication on visa as yet.

Hi shirk_14, Though we submitted on Aug 14th at different VFS offices in India, Please post once your status is changed w.r.t Passport from VFS office. I'm expecting that we would be getting our Passport back in this week.

Hey All, the journey of PR has finally reached to a close.
Blessings of elders and hope-driven by fellow forum members,
We received our CoPR and passports today from New Delhi Visa office.
Timeline:
PPR request on 10th August
Passport submitted at vfs hyd: 14th August
Approved status on cic: 25th August
Passports and CoPR received: 28th August.

Best of luck to everyone in the journey. Hope is always at the end of the fog. Hang in there!

I meant we also get an email from vfs that our passport has been dispatched from singapore , does the status change before that email or after that?

Review of additional documents section reads: 'The additional documents you provided are being reviewed'

Does this change to 'No additional documents required' at any stage?

Yes it does,

It will go to "additional doucuments have been successfully uploaded to Not required"

These statuses changed for me 3 times in a matter of week.
