So does "Not started" in Eligibility, security, BCG, etc.. mean they haven't even looked? or does it mean they've looked and there is no red flags??

this to me indicates that they havent started it yet. you would see in progress if they started...

they have notes on their thoughts and red flags and such. .eligibility, criminality for us are in progress, medical is passed and security is not started -- however our security page is blanked out indicating it is in progress

I only had like 33 pages. nothing looks like it's blanked out.. MyCIC says eligibility in review..
I've kinda lost hope at this point to getting PR anytime within a year.. it's been seven months and my application seems to have just been sitting. I'm over the whole process...

its very daunting... i wish i could tell you something else but dont lose hope... you are still within your processing time -- after 12 months i would get MP involved

I've already contacted my MP and told them the situation and how the call agents have told me "it looks like the hold up is because your application has been marked for over seas, but they also know you're only a US citizen" My notes don't reflect this at all.. Plus not being transferred from Mississauga to Ottawa (which my notes say will happen.) even after seven months is kind of crap..
I've also been told since I'm waiting on OB570 it might not even count towards my processing time. not sure if that's true.. but I'll lose it if it does.. I've got Sa and AOR1. That's it. usually americans see PR in at most 6 months but with this new process everything has changed.

thats unfortunate.. the call center agents are known not to be reliable so take their words with a grain of salt. not sure what OB570 is...

due to the increase in applications normal wait trends for PR is rising. it sucks i know... but dont lose hope!

OB570 ppl have referred to as an Operational Bulletin from CIC. You can see what OB looks like from past on their website. But have to wait for this one to be announced.

it's been 5 months now.. I doubt they'll release it anytime soon.

That's crappy. I don't know how long they usually wait to announce one. I have never heard of the OB being in notes. Until now. Have read about them in cic website before. I will dig a little deeper on twitter.

Your eligibility may have not started or something came up and they are waiting for documents or info; it is pending or in queue to be reviewed; the visa officer or immigration officer will look at your file on Sept 15, 2017 when was your AOR2? Was it in August?

It could also mean they asked you for additional documents or have asked info from outside sources and are only going to review your file again around Sept; but it could be sooner
