Anyone has a full understanding of the GCMS notes? I just got this note hours ago, and still in the progress of going through it to understand what is going on with my application......

Almost 14 months have passed by the end of this month, but Criminality is still In Progress while both Eligibility and Security are Not Started yet......

BUT it still shows that Type: Criminality Status: In Progress

Medical has Passed and valid until 2017/12/09;

Then nothing else since then......

I bet no-one from Ottawa has opened your file since it was transferred from Sydney.

Can you please confirm this by checking if you got your Medical Request before your file was transferred from Sydney to Ottawa?

It's multi step process they also validate your work history and authenticity of other documentation including pcc's for other countries as well data from Border security for entry/exit .

So you're correct that I got my MR before my file was transferred from Sydney to Ottawa......

If it's not open by Ottawa then it's gross mishandling by Ottawa .. it should be brought into attention of authorities

I called 20 days ago, but got a email reply saying that "Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times......"

What can I do at this point to bring this into attention of the appropriate authorities then?? Any advice will be much appreciated!!

For QSW, MIDI is responsible for validating work history/documents.

Looking at GCMS notes , it appears that Criminality check only involves a check against RCMP and USA database + validation of PCC.
