AFTER THE ISSUES BETWEEN DOHA AND UAE IS THE ABU DHABI CANADA EMBASSY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS THROUGH VFS CENTRE DOHA BECAUSE I WAS THINKING TO APPLY FOR STUDENT VISA BUT THE PROBLEM IS WILL I BE ABLE TO DO THAT AS THERE IS ONLY . VAC IN DOHA AND THE DOCUMENTS GO TO ABU DHABI DOES ANYONE HAS THESE INFORMATION .
Will it have any effect on my application maybe they will reject due to issues between these 2 countries I also have option from applying in Pakistan what should I do
No, there will not be any problems. VFS Doha will send the documents to the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi. As Saajye pointed out, the Canadian Visa Officers will be dealing with your application and that has no connection to UAE/Qatar diplomatic ties whatsoever. The only thing may be that when you send your documents, they will possibly go through Iran or Oman, adding to the cost of transmitting it. But if you send it through VFS Doha, they will be dealing with it so everything remains normal.
And if you are planning to apply for September do it right away, since Abu Dhabi's Canadian Embassy is famous for its slow service. Good Luck.
A friend applied from VFS Qatar on April 12th and she recieved her visa on June 15th. VFS Qatar sent her passport to get visa printed and stamped from the Canadian embassy in Poland once approval was recieved from the Abu Dhabi embassy. Your passport will be sent to a different country since the passports can't be shipped to the UAE, but this shouldn't affect applications or timings. You can contact VFS Qatar to confirm this, the blockade doesn’t affect or slow down your visa process.
Anyone here did upfront medical in Qatar at Gulf Laboratory in Al Nasser?
I called them for an upfront medical schedule and requirements, they informed me that they do not recommend upfront medical particularly with student visa as there were many cases that medical results were lost and applicant needs to undergo medical again using the medical request letter from the embassy.
Any thoughts of this? Could you please share if you have done upfront medical in Qatar.
