I called CIC, and the agent sent a request to the VO, and I got an email one week after that as following:

"Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests."

Sigh......

They should give you a reason for this delay....

Did you requested GCMS , where exactly it is stuck ? Try to reach out to your MP...

I tried to request GCMS, but did not get response yet. It is said it will take one month to get the GCMS, and I expect I will get it soon...

I totally understand how you feel! the worth thing about this immigration process is that you don't know when it ends! it could be 3 month, 13 month or even 3 years...
but at least we are appreciated for our patience!!

You don't have to tell us the details if its personal. But, can you think of any reason for the extra checks? I do not know... maybe a trip to a "dangerous" part of the world? Family members who might have criminal history? Things like that?

I agree with @poisonapple , you should try reaching out to your MP, you are past the 13 months.

No....

Trust me, is there was such a way available for everyday candidates, we would all use it =) .... I actually work for the government and it had absolutely 0 impact in processing my application.

Best advice is to sit tight and be ready to a long wait...

Still... if I understand correctly, it seems it only works if you get a job through the online placement service...right? And the "could benefit" part is quite vague. Do we know anyone who benefited from "priority processing"? If so... by how much are processing times reduced?

Thanks for the reply. May be I didn't elaborated it well. My question was more related to if I am already working in a complany and have a job plus obtained the CSQ.

Is there anyway it will expedite to have my federal application if I can share the letter to CIC.
