Hi Friends

I'd like to update my status

I received my AOR (Acknowledgment Of Receipt) yesterday

Number of Physical Residence Days: 1469 Days
Application was mailed on: July 04, 2017
Application received on: July 7, 2017
Application Type: Single
Applicant Location: Vancouver, BC
AOR Date: August 09, 2017

I have noticed that there is a mistake on the spelling of my middle name so I called citizenship agent and she told me she has made the correction.
I just checked the status online and the name remains incorrect.

Could someone please give me some advice about what action should I take. Or just wait for a few days to see what happens?

Maybe you should give them a call back that it has not been corrected. Are you able to view your application online already? I thought the ecas becomes available only after it has gone into process...

I could view my status after getting AOR but the only thing I could see was my incorrect name

Is it mandatory to complete the last year ( before applying citizenship) continuously in Canada or can you complete the time in break ups

What's your location, number of days physically present and was your application Single or Family?

I think that's possible as long as the spouse and kids have enough days, no one can stop them from applying for citizenship. I don't think there is a rule which states that both husband and wife must apply for citizenship- it's their choice!

As long as in the last 6 years you have 1460 days, doesn't matter how you stayed in Canada

Is it fair to say that, once you have received AOR, that means you application is complete with respect to requirements/documents?

Hello All - I am Rajiv from Markham, ON and I applied for citizenship on 06 july 2017, and cic received my application on 10 july 2017, after which i haven't heard anything back, i keep checking for the application status online, but it says - no records found/may be it has not started processing yet', anyone knows how long it takes for CIC to respond back after receiving the citizenship application?
