Is the Fee Receipt # start with letter R and 9 digits number ? My application received June 28 ,and I still can't check it. even tho I called cic, they told me they have my application,but still ;(

Congrats! If you check with receipt# does it also show you the status? Since I am not sure about my UCI I am just checking with Receipt#. nothing yet. I sent the application Jul 11.

Yes, with receipt number too it shows the status.

Hi Everyone,
I applied for my mother immigration in 2015. We received medical and police certificate request in June, 2017. Medical was done and police certificate was sent in June. It’s been a month status shows medical results have been received. Does anyone know how much time it will take after medical? What would be the next step? She is currently on super visa and living with me in Canada.

I sent my PGP sponsorship application on Aug01, and they received on Aug 03. How long normally does it take for CIC to evaluate the application?

Same here. I don't see any reasons to worry as this seems to be pretty common.
