Hi guys, end of January 2017 applicant here (I'm brain-farting a lot lately--can't remember exact dates). Been ill recently and haven't shared any updates with you guys.
Long story short--my file is still at CPCM (Schedule A submission didn't work until a week ago--I figure that's why they didn't transfer to LVO yet). They asked for a re-med a few days ago (original med was included with the application package). Although most people get DM soon after re-med, my file's not even at LVO yet, so I don't think things will be as fast for me.
Can anyone help me with guesses at how much longer this whole process might take? Or what might happen now?
How long does processing at LVO usually take?
I've submitted voluntary proof of our relationship and latest visit. Re-med will be done within a week.
I know my file is still at CPCM because they're the ones contacting me (they said the file would be forwarded after Schedule A, which they just received, but I wonder: Will they wait to transfer it until after they receive the re-med?).
Once it does get to LVO, is LVO likely to request more stuff from us?
Any feedback from you guys would make my day . My hubby and I are expecting our first baby in December inshaAllah, so I'm growing increasingly curious about whether he'll be here before the baby or not...
Guys need your help!
I need to send a document that will help my case. Already emailed it on [email protected]
but i dont think they consider it.
Also no option available online to upload document as they didnt asked for it.
Please help me out!

Hi everyone,
I would request senior members to please take time and read my questions because i have a complex case and answer my questions if possible. I have been following this thread for quite some time and finally decided to post here some questions regarding my situation. So I am December 2016 applicant and I've used old kit and did upfront medical which was successful at last because i had to go through sputum tests which was a nerve breaking experience.
I have bad travel history as i was deported from a European union country and been previously married(its a very long story so i will just limit details).
Now i tried to contact LVO last month and it took them one month to answer that after 8 month i sent my application, it still awaits initial review which is really disappointing to know. Can anyone tell me what is going on with my case and how long should i expect to hear from them. And what will be the effect of my bad travel history on my application?
And i also am not able to connect my application to my gckey account all i am able to do is just call on cic helpline and listen to current status which mentioned that i do not need an interview which is kind of surprising as i was expecting to be called for an interview. Thanks in advance if someone can take some time and answer my queries.

Hi sorry to hear you were sick. Hope you are better now.
The reason older applicants got DM right after second medical request was because in the old kit they were sending the medical upfront with the applications. So by the time LVO was ready to make a decision their meds had expired.
Now we can only get meds done and sent to CPC Mississauga when they request it. In most cases (almost all I have seen here in the forum) the file is transferred to VO once meds, Shedule A and PCC are submitted to Mississauga. As far as next steps, it is safe to assume that once your meds are received, it will be transferred to LVO where they will work on eligibility and Background Check. All the best.

You can use the Web form on the CIC website. Just search for it in google or CIC website. Good luck.
