Hey guys!
I've been quietly reading along...
Congrats to all of you who got DM or PPR!
I'm getting quite impatient...still waiting for MR! My timeline:
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on February 13, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 10, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on March 10, 2017.
I got the "false alert MR" back in June... but no such luck. Since then myCIC says "your action is required" but no messages. I know I just have to be patient...but it's not easy!

I need an advice.. I have applied for Quebec skilled worker programme in 2014 from dubai. Still waiting for CSQ. Meanwhile I thought of moving to Canada by student visa and continue my masters.. I don't want to delay my studies. Immigration officer adviced I can take my family along..
My question is am i taking the right decision? Meanwhile can I continue wating for My application to Quebec? Plz adive friends

Hi all,
I have quick question regarding the PCC needed for the PR application. Actually , I didnt apply it upfront when submitting my PR application, buy my application was received and accepted and the process already started. My questions:
1-Can I submit the PCC directly now. OR I should wait them to request it.
2- I wonder if realy we can submit then online like the CIC agent told me. I called them today, she saud if you want you can submit them after scanning them through CIC web form and then sheconfirmed that by sending an email to me.
3- last question and most important, is there is any restriction for opening the PCC from different countries we have or we should keep it sealed as we received if. Actually, I have two PCC from two different countries, one is sealed and the other is not, so I wonder can I open it and scan it or it is not allowed.
Sorry for the long post.

Congratulations! I have a question. If you did not see anything change in your ECAS or your CIC profile then how did you receive PPR?

Hi!

Yes, the others are right, PPR came by email. It was not from a general CIC address, it was the CPC-Ottawa that sent it.

Ecas has finally changed to Decision Made, but my CIC profile has not shown any update...maybe until they see the CoPR. I'll keep you posted when I get more news.

So you're saying you received ppr email before decision made on ecas? And your background check was still in process in mycic?
