Hey guys!
So here I am, 10 months into the processing, waiting for PPR. My medicals will expire next month, do you think they will ask me to do it again? :/
I sent an email 2 weeks ago 'reminding' them about it, but.. zzzz.. no answer.
Your comments are so very welcome
If you are inland then CIC might waive it even after 12 months, but if you are outland then CIC most probably will ask for 2nd medical.

Did you asked for GCMS notes ?
Hi All,
what is the average time gap between RPRF paid and passport request? I have paid RPRF fee on 24th July, 2017.

I don't know between RPRF and PPR, but my friend got her PPR about 4 months after her medical exam.

Hi,
There is no clear trend, really. Some people get it near the beginning, some at the middle, and some right before ppr. I would not try to predict PPR date solely by the date of the medical request or the RPRF. For example, i am inland, and it has been nearly 3 months since RPRF, nearly 6 months since MR, more than 8 months since AoR and nearly 11 months since i sent my application.
Other applicants may have seen very different timelines...
Instead of a general rule, i would recommend looking at the timelines of people who submitted around the same time as you.
Best of luck
Just recieved my GCMS notes via email.

Any useful information in the GCMS notes?

By the way, guys...
I finally was able to reach someone at my local MP's office. I talked with an assistant that works for the MP here in Montreal. She asked me a bunch of questions about my file (she even asked me if I was a refugee.) Basically, she told me she read the letter I sent and assured me she would forward it to the Ottawa office as an "opinion letter". She told me that MPs can usually try to get more info on individual cases if an application is still in process after the corresponding time shown by CIC (13 months in this case). So, IF, and only IF, your file has been in process for more than 13 months, you can try calling your local MPs office and see if they can get more info on your behalf. In particularly, she told encouraged me to tell other people in Papineau that if they are facing similar cases to come forward and contact the MP if they have crossed the 13 months deadline.
I'll be crossing the 11 month line next week.. the waiting game is getting harder and harder.
Best wishes to everyone!

Hi,
Umm, i'm not quite sure... sorry. I'm guessing your best bet is to try to contact the VO processing your file directly. I think they are the ones in the best position to help you.
Could you please share your timeline and VO?
I hope you get something really, really soon!
