There is a possibility we might still get moved to Ottawa if Sydney is burdened enough with applications. Or we ride it out like John and have the entire process concluded at Sydney. Sydney isn't the worst visa office by the way. Report from folks at London Visa office shows we still have it better. There are AOR from Feb/Mar London Visa office just moving into IP2.
I hope so too. I really never cared which office though as long as there was movement on the application. However now with June guys also seeing the PPR shower it's getting frustrating. But yeah still hanging in here. And i agree there are so many Feb Mar Apr still waiting it out.
Eagerly waiting for PPR email to enter my inbox @gurik. Every day seems like an year to me these days. I hope that I can get to share the good news with you guys next week.
Glad to have you guys here. It was beginning to get lonely. Will be checking visa office every two weeks and will update here. Let's keep updating particularly as we are stuck in a slow visa office. It will help keep us sane.
One thing, I want us all to go away with. Nothing wrong with our application, Sydney is a Toyota while Ottawa probably is an F1 Benz.
I will do the same. One week back I was still stuck in CIO sydney. On Thursday, my ADR changed to "No Additional documents needed" so I was happy about some movement. I will mail Ottawa next week and figure out if I am still in CIO sydney.
Oh no John, nobody's leaving, @comfortablynumb, @gurik and I are staying with you guys and preparing for your party. We will all clean up later then. Cheers!

I felt the same. You try to allow it not get to you. Likely June guys in Ottawa will most likely get PPR long before we do. We just need to accept it and have our own Sydney realistic timelines. If it remains in Sydney, it is like 110+ days at best before PPR. I am day 64 as of today. So still a long way out.
No, because I thought one can only email them using the same email address that was used in application and I don't have access to it. Do you think that would help? I could ask my consultant to do so I guess
I'm not sure about the email address can be used. I'm thinking how would it harm if you send the email? Whichever way, the VO information should be known.
Same here, but isn't this normal? Yes June folks have started getting PPR but that's more of an exception than norm. Every case is different. Yes, by following the status of others we can get an idea but this remains an individual journey. All I'm saying is - hang in there

@johnsyk I plan to email them tomorrow too. I hope i dont cheese them off although I only emailed them on 30th june for my VO which they responded back on 4th July.
So we both had the same status change to our documents. I wonder where we stand in the processing flow now.
