I'm sorry I'm not able to read/understand Tagalog. But you should call CNO and ask to be sure. I think they prefer it to be valid within 6 months of when you get your license. If you asked if you should apply to NNAS while still in Philippines, I'd say yes. Because it could be years before you are able to get a nursing license and you don't want to be stuck in Canada without a means of making decent income. It could take up to one year for your NNAS process, then another 6 months to do IENCAP if they require you to do that, maybe more time if they ask you to take more school courses...you just never know.

It's all pure hell ever since NNAS began.

I have already applied for NNAS evaluation but until I get report I would like to work as a HCA instead of cashier I try to find out online but I didn't get any information..
I called couple of colleges for challenge test but they are asking me to pay $3100 just for a test I have studied 4 years to get my nursing degree and they are not able to give me a basic certificate This is ridiculous

Oh sorry, I replied in Tagalog. My husband is applying for Student visa while spousal open work permit for me, my last hospital experience was 2010, then I worked as a clinic nurse from 2011 to 2015. Will I still be eligible to take RPN exam even my safe practice already expired? I graduated BSN here 2008, passed the board exam for nurses in the same year. Can you share your insights if it's a good move if I go for NNAS assessment now while we are here or should I take Nursing related course in Canada first? Thank you!

Are you applying for RN or RPN?
If your safe practice has expired I'm pretty sure they will ask you to start over again with your education.

Would like to try both. Is that possible? Thank you!

You can apply for both, but I don't think you will be able to get anywhere without Canadian education if your safe practice is expired. But now that I re-read your original post, it seems that your safe practice has not expired since you worked as a nurse in 2015.

Hi,
Your friend can try IQAS. I did 3 years diploma with a year midwifery too and my IQAS report says 3 years diploma and a focus in midwifery.
This is not needed for nursing registration its only needed for immigration
