Thank you for your response! Was the 3 months on off campus or a no permit period between the two? (sorry I wasn't too sure about it)

The off campus expired and i had applied for a pgwp, this was the period in between issuing the pgwp and the expiry of the off campus work permit. I've been told that it's a bit of a grey area so, I got a tad unlucky.

Hi guys,

Anyone has any experience dealing with the VFS office? I sent in my passport along with photos, proof of fee to VFS and a copy of the PPR email on Friday. It arrived at their office on Monday.

I gave them a ring a few hours back to request a tracking number (Why they didn't email me one is a different story). Once tracked, it says:

"Visa application, tracking ID No........ is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, PRETORIA.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit the VAC website."

Can I assume that this means that the Passport is now sitting with the embassy to be stamped? Also, does anyone have any idea as to how long this process takes?

I don't know the time frame but you can call CIC by yourself and ask about your application status.
My AOR is also Jan 13, PNP Inland. I just called them and they advised me that my application is approved but they dont know when I will receive ppr email.
