I got email reply from Lvo, this is what they said

Please note that all requested documents and information have been received and added to your file. Your application is in queue to be reviewed by an officer. If any additional information is required throughout the next stages of processing, we will be in contact with you.

Did I get the reply from the visa officer or someone else??

Doesnt look like coming from your particular visa officer as it clearly says "in queue to be reviewed by AN officer".

Hi everyone, I applied in December 2016 and got my notes today. Nothing has been started yet on my file and file is PUT AWAY. I don't know what to assume about all this?

Our application was also in PUT AWAY status before. And at the end of notes it stated "File held for London Pilot Project". Is there any mention of such in your notes?

It's been almost 11 months and we didn't get our visa yet. Background check has been in progress since Oct 2016. We were considering to apply for a Temporary resident visa/visit visa. Do you guys think there is a chance for getting one?? I know it's kinda hard for Pakistani Applicants

Polling has STARTED guys: Plz vote in support or against applying for Visit Visa for Canada while the spousal permanent residence application is in progress

I just realized I labelled the relationship proof pics (of wedding, valima) with my(sponsor) name and DOB will this cause enough problems for them to send the file back??

Form IMM 5536 , is this to be only completed by Principal Applicant or siblings and parents too ( my sister/brother in law and parents in law ) , I think only wife's fine but just wanna make sure. Would really appreciate the response.

  This form is completed for all persons included in the application that are Pakistani nationals and above 18 years old.

If you write both's info, it is great . Otherwise they ask the PRINCIPAL APPLICANT'S DOB. What did you do ?

on some, i wrote both. but on most, i just sponsor's name and DOB and the description of whats happening in the picture. thats it.

I highly doubt they would send back because of this. Usually they send file back if you are missing information on forms or signatures etc. It should be fine

guys after 4 months of hard work, my wife is about to send me documents from Pakistan so I submit. I wanna confirm, nothing original is required, everything photocopy and attested from Pakistan.

MEDICAL/POLICE will come later on. Let me know if I am on right track. And also is IMM 5536 to be completed by only principal or whole family including siblings and parents ?

-Urdu Nikah Namah

-English Translation

-Marriage Certificate

However I did not receive other documents such as original birth certificate, pictures, and greeting cards etc..


Do they return these types of documents after approval ?

You got the things which are important and life long , but you sending original again puts me under limbo and the question arises, are not they OK with photocopy or you just sent originals ?
