Hi. Thank you for the reply.
But if we mention my wife's dad name in the application as a family member of the principal applicant. What if in future my wife wants to sponsor her father.? Won't it be an issue
No i dont think so it will be an issue.. bcz her father is not part of application. As you sponsoring your wife and your family comprise of you and your wife or any dependent children. As up to my info her father info is only to be filled in additional family information form. And all other forms are concerend with your family (i.e you + your wife ) not with your wife family. May be some one else also help if i am wrong .
Hi everyone.
So a couple of weeks back i received two emails, one was medical request for my wife and the second one was for information that my wife will be asked to submit Schedule A in a weeks time. So i received another email today asking for:
1- PCC
2- Schedule A
3- Passport size photos
4- Client Information: Receipt of information from client Family lists or Household Registry.
Please provide the Authorization to Disclose Information form (IMM5536).” This must be
received at this office
Can some one explain what point 4 is? I did submit IMM5536 with the docs, are they asking for it again?
Thanks

If ur wife is PA and u guys have no kids u just need to write her info in appendix A of ppr. No need to add ur info.
Ok ok thanks
There is nothing to upload once u get ppr. Just print the ppr and check for a table named appendix A. Applicant shud fill it and take the entire copy to vfs along with photos as per ppr specs and fee. That is all
Yeah
thankyou
Salam everyone here,
Few quick questions from the experts here. When they say also send us any little detail such as whatsapp chat or fb post people giving congrats . If my whatsapp between myself and wife have some Urdu parts, do I need to translate that too by my own or I should not go in too details since mostly writing is already in English .
Is Whatsapp and FB posts are enough or can we add other social media too ? I am attaching 50 pictures from pre to post wedding.
Thanks.
You can give in urdu as is.. just take the screen shot, dont edit any thing.. in my case i just send skype records, and some emails, thats it .. skype records are very important ..
You don't need to translate the chats. Just make sure to show chats from each month so that the length of relationship is obvious.
For pictures, I can't say anything. Senior members sent in lots of pictures and advocate doing that but the new application kit specifically states a maximum of 20 photographs. I sent in 20 but haven't heard back from LVO yet so can't say if that was enough. Make sure you include photographs of nikkah nama signing and ruksati as those are key ones.
And for the pics minimum 30 pics.. and mac u can send like 70,80.. nikkah signing pics, rukhsati pics, rasam after rukhsati in home, and make sure u can send the group pictures as much as u can, like they dont care about couple pics.. make sure u can show the public in ur pics, and dinner pics, like reception dinner.. that would be enough
Dear 2017 applicants,
We submitted pur application on March 8, 2017 and got sponsor approval letter and medical request on March 21 and 30, 2017. Our medical wad done on April 10, 2017. Since then we have not heard anything about our file. So we called CIC missisagua call center in first week of June to find out the status of our file. We followup with them once in every two weeks. Now our file has been in transit since June or may be before that.
My question is has any of you experienced or experiencing the same thing. When will our file be transferred to LVO and why is it in transit for so long anyway. Call center agents confirm that everything in our application is in place.
Please guide. Thanks a lot!
Many people are in a similar position (including me), not just files going to LVO. Some people are saying that CPC-M is doing some of the work for VOs that are overloaded (more than usual).
I'm an April 13th applicant and my status on ECAS is still "Application Received". I uploaded the requested docs on May 22nd. What's your status on ECAS?

Thanks for mentioning this.
I'll feel better or worse about my application depending on when you get DM/PPR (because of similar delays).
What kind of document for upload?.. i also got ppr, i didnt see any thing like that to upload anything or to post anything..
Thats what Im wondering .. what Doc's to upload ? its says on the Letter too to upload docs on MYCIC. When I checked on mycic's its says there to upload doc... but i'm curious what docs to upload. ?

Thank you. What you said does sound fair. Still lets consult one more opinion to be sure.
They are asking 15-20 additional pictures of ceremonies etc. It does not mention honey moon or any family visits. So, I am all ready to go with pictures of "ceremonies" in a word document. Does it require to explain the situation in the picture and list the people in the picture like we did before when 20 pictures were submitted with the package? Just need some guidance .. thank you ..
Also, the size of the file to upload it 4mb .. my word document is up to 17 mb .. please help on how to reduce the size .. i have already made the pictures small
I have applied on 22nd March 2017, on April 21st Sponsorship Approved and medical and schedule A requested on the same day. Provided everything within a week. but haven't received anything about my file has been transferred to LVO or not.
Last month I have emailed to
[email protected] and asked them they have received my application or not?
Yesterday, I have received an email from London, that they have received my application. But on ECAS it is still APPLICATION RECEIVED. It must be changed to IN PROCESS.
What do you think guys? How long they gona take more on my application?
