What kind of document for upload?.. i also got ppr, i didnt see any thing like that to upload anything or to post anything..

There is nothing to upload once u get ppr. Just print the ppr and check for a table named appendix A. Applicant shud fill it and take the entire copy to vfs along with photos as per ppr specs and fee. That is all

I have a question I received an email today saying that my security criminality check are in a que to be reviewed by the immigration officer
My question is this the same as background checks ? Is this the last stage ? And has anyone else had the same email how long does this take if it's in a que?

In most cases yes this is the last stage and criminality + security checks = background checks. They usually commence after eligibility is passed. So IA I'm hopeful ur eligibility has passed. In some cases however they commence background checks before hand. So u can never be sure. How about u ask them specifically about ur eligibility in another email after a few days just to confirm.

Hi All

I am filling the spousal immigration form to sponsor my wife from Pakistan.

Now CIC introduced a new form regarding Details of Military service.

My wife never worked for the Military, but she does have a Govt job.

But her dad used to work for Military and now he is still a senior level Govt Officer.
Question?
Do I have to fill this form considering her dad was a military man?
Really confused about this.

No you don't have to fill the Military form. because this form is to be filled by anyone included in application. as neither you nor your wife worked in military so no need to fill it. Plus i am principal applicant and my father also worked in military and we did not fill this form. Hope it helps.

I got GMC notes yesterday where medical status is Passed-Expired because it was done upfront in June 2016, Criminality status Passed, Eligibility Passed no concerns about marriage last updated was on April 25,2017. Now its July what they are waiting for. How i can contact them about the decision why they are taking so long. Please advise. thanks

In section e) it asks for Date of birth. Who's date of birth is it asking, ex-spouse? Is that relevant

Yes, it's asking for the ex-spouse's details, as it says "Provide the following details for your previous spouse/common-law partner".
Not sure if it's relevant lol but that's what they ask for in the form.

Salam everyone here,

Few quick questions from the experts here. When they say also send us any little detail such as whatsapp chat or fb post people giving congrats . If my whatsapp between myself and wife have some Urdu parts, do I need to translate that too by my own or I should not go in too details since mostly writing is already in English .

Is Whatsapp and FB posts are enough or can we add other social media too ? I am attaching 50 pictures from pre to post wedding.

You don't need to translate the chats. Just make sure to show chats from each month so that the length of relationship is obvious.

For pictures, I can't say anything. Senior members sent in lots of pictures and advocate doing that but the new application kit specifically states a maximum of 20 photographs. I sent in 20 but haven't heard back from LVO yet so can't say if that was enough. Make sure you include photographs of nikkah nama signing and ruksati as those are key ones.

Thank you , makes sense. Yes I have whatsapp chat since august as met first time and the other day I printed it and came as 88 pages lol. It is just precious thing that I dont feel like deleting the older messages so I will then choose few pages so it covers all months. Yes, I got photos of nikah.

Yes I agree that both are valid bit seems like our visa office does not know about that. This is one of their favourite additional document request.

You can email London visa office and enquire about your case.

You should also visit the local mp' s office and have them enquire from lvo directly about your case and what is taking so long to process.
