I also have BGC NA since I passed medicals, i am assuming that i missed my IP1, hence if my file will be at CPC Ottawa it will help me be sure that I passed IP1. As files are transferred to Ottawa only after R10 is cleared. But nowadays they are keeping files at CIO sydney for major processing and sending to LVO at the very last (P2). So if my file is still at CIO, it will be difficult for me to determine my status, but a change will help me in reassuring myself. This is what it means for me.
Otherwise It simply means that your file will be processed at Ottawa till the very last instead of your Local Visa Office. This mostly happens due to load sharing. Ottawa is faster also compared to many Visa Offices.
hey i have a similar timeline to u! i sent an email to them the other day to ask for VO and the next day my bgc changes to ip2. not sure if that helped. they have not replied me though. you can give it a try nonetheless!

Hello Everyone. What a brilliant discussion forum. Very helpful for ppl like me..Congratulations to all those who got PPR..Hope u can help me with my query as well.
I got AOR on April 3rd and medicals passed for me and wife most likely on June 8th as that was the day my consultant send me the screen shot of the updates. The screen shot shows our UCI numbers,
Application status - processing,
Review of eligibility - we are reviewing whether u meet eligibility requirements,
Review of medicals - passed,
Review of additional documents - additional documents you provided are being reviewed,
Interview - not needed,
Background check- not applicable..
What can u guys make out of these statuses?? My consultant says nothing has changed, probably he missed out on somethings as he doesn't regularly check..One more thing is that, the details of our new born child has been/ shall be updated..pls help seniors...Thanks
October will do, we hope to get PPRs by August end and mid September here, so we can all discuss much awaited landing discussion then
I saw you fixed the GIF, Nice, Obama style thank you
Yeah i will have many queries, i will bother you after coming back from my vacation, need to think, and now i am just checking posts quickly and replying very quick. Bother you soon

This is going to be the most informative post I have ever written.. Do read .
On the second page
Eligibility : Recommend passed
Security : Not started
HIRV:
Criminality : Passed
Org Crime:
Medical : Passed
1. R10 done at CIO Sydney. on 2 June. This is when my IP1 began and medicals passsed. @gurik :I will upload the screenshot from which you will come to know what all things they checked.
2. Criminality passed just on the basis of Indian PCC as I have no travel history. This was done on 7 June at CIO- Sydney
2. Now we all have been speculating that why FSW-O applications are being processed at CPC-Ottawa instead of LVO.
File transferred to Ottawa on 9 june and the reason mentioned is WORKLOAD REDISTRIBUTION . My IP1>NA is 8 june.
3. Eligibility(A11.2) done on 9 June at Ottawa. This happens when I am only 1 day into NA. Will upload a screenshot for this.
Now apart from the above mentioned dates , I dont see anything else. These dates match perfectly with the status changes i.e IP1>NA>IP2.
Since everything is done on 9th June except security. I believe that's the last step.
I hope I have provided all the info requested by @gurik@astralsource . Will upload the screenshots soon.
