Received a letter from immigration today, stating that, We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Canada Immigration Centre in Etobicoke IRCC will contact you to arrange an appointment for
the finalization of your permanent resident application.

Profiler my mp called me today and told me since my Medicals is More than 3months and It's updated yet,a note has bn sent to Ottawa since last Tuesday to update my Medicals,how long does it take Ottawa to reply.....

So Outland Americans get their files sent to Ottawa usually.

Medicals have to be approved by a Regional Medical Examiner (it's a second doctor reading clinical impressions), then it's accepted by CIC.

Maybe the RME is in l'Ottawa?

Most likely, yes. Etobicoke was relatively slow landing people 7-8 weeks after DM, but I saw recently people posting they landed about 5 weeks after DM. You should receive the appointment letter 1-2 weeks before your appointment.

Unless you're a "connected" person like @browning911 who gets a landing in a week from CIC-Etobicoke..
