Hello all seniors, any one have idea that if wife landed as a permanant resident, then she can go back to pakistan before her P.R arrives?.. or she have to wait for 3 months to get her P.R first?..

You need to make sure she has her PR because she will need it to come back. If it is an urgent matter, you can apply for a permanent residence travel doc. More info here:

Hey i have a question..If leave n i get few weeks shorten on my pr card requirement n my pr will expire on 2018 december so when i come back while at the aiporrt they can know that if am shorten few weeks probably if i go around this 2017 september for 3 weeks ..
Plus can they reject the applications while am gone for few weeks in september..i am just guesssing the senerios

She can go back. There isn't any issue. The only problem that may arise is, if the photos are not according to the specification for the PR then those needs to be submitted again. In case if you will not receive PR cards for her then she has to apply temporary visa. I went out myself in 2014 after landing and my fried received the PR card which he sent to me afterwards before I came back to Canada.

Hi,
As frequent traveler what I noticed now when they see that PR card is near to expiry they routed the passengers through the counters instead of letting them going straight out. Most probably immigration officer on the desk checks the number of days and if he satisfies then he let person get in Canada. I am saying this as when I entered last month in Canada the person standing after the PR cards machines looked at my PR card and routed me through the immigration counter. When I asked immigration officer why I have been routed this channel he said I don't know as I don't see any problem as still you have more than 2 years in expiry of your PR status which means usually they route the persons who are having less than 2 years on their cards. Two weeks after I went to USA and when I came back the officer just asked me where are you coming from and how many days you stayed outside and I told him from USA and 4 days then he let me in straight forward.
So its kind of tricky thing. I strongly recommend you to not to take this kind of risk as you may lose your PR.

The thing is, can u carry someone PR with you?.. like the officer may ask on the airport that how come u get your PR?.. because she will be in the pakistan right.. i dont think that gonna work..

I don't think this will be an issue. As my friend carried for me and came back on that card afterwards. And I may adopt the same for my family as well if they will give the visa till first week of October only. Hundreds of people come for short landing only and go back after few weeks. Any way this will be your call that how you want to deal with this situation.
