Hi friends I called cic yesterday, they told me that my background check is done n they don't need any information from me. but my eligibility is not done yet, everything else is done. so kindly advice if somebody knows about it n when I can expect ppr??????

As I wait for IP2 n PPR, and landing and all that, I sometimes can't stop thinking about all the concerns, negatives, "no-jobs-without-Canadian-Exp" shouts. I'm NOC 4163, 10+ exp, solid global exposure, and every day I look at LinkedIn jobs and think I can crack this once I'm authorized to live and work there. But why so much negativity around? In other Canada visa forums, and beyond?

I find it best to be here in this forum, where ppl are genuinely looking forward to that change.. and are happy to talk and share their feelings..

NA->The next step is to conduct bg->NA(after submission of schedule A).

Not sure what is happening with the application and when will I get PPR.

Similar - except that my ADR turned into "the additional document has been received" from "being reviewed"...

I called CIC and was told that I passed eligibility, etc except security check which is in progress. The agent asked me to just wait for it to be done and PPR later (sounds like no one is concerned about security check hence minimal chance of rejection here?)

It's been a frustrating to wait while seeing all the other guys with similar background have been confirmed PPR

medical passed 28 april
PPR on 29th june

I want to ask that when i submitted the application. i paid application fee only and didn't pay RPRF. The question is that i was not asked to pay RPRF, besides i was expecting that first. But, i got passport request directly. I am surprised and never heard about that. So, what should i do now. Should i wait for instructions to pay RPRF or should i proceed to pay. And, how i can pay the RPRF online without demand of cic.
